Headline: US military, partner nations assess future warfighting capabilities

The U.S. Army Joint Modernization Command is sponsoring Joint Warfighting Assessment 19, a joint multinational military exercise, which is being conducted at Yakima Training Center and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, April 8, 2019 to May 11, 2019.

JWA 19 is the U.S. Army’s largest annual joint-multinational live exercise in which the U.S. military and partner nations assess 28 future warfighting concepts, capabilities and formations in a large-scale and realistic battlefield exercise.

Headline: International Cadets gather together for a reception with USMA leaders

In less than a month, nearly 1,000 cadets will graduate from West Point and be commissioned into the Army as second lieutenants. Also graduating with the Class of 2019 will be 12 international cadets who have spent the last four years studying at West Point and then will go home to serve in their country’s Army.

Easter Faith, Hope, and Love brings US and ROK Army Together
Nestled in the Soebaek mountain range of South Korea, Soldiers of the United States Army and Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) came together in faith to celebrate Easter Sunday on the Camp Carroll Forward Operating Site (FOS).

The Unit Ministry Team (UMT) of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment conducted the Easter Sunday Service as a part of a week-long visit to provide religious support to the Soldiers on the site.

The service was held by Chaplain (Capt.) Teogenes Bernardez and Religious Affair Specialist, Pfc. Esperanza Gomez, while 2nd Lt. Kelsey Burns, from D Battery, 2nd Air Defense Artillery Regiment (THAAD), led the group in singing Easter hymns. US and ROKA Soldiers came together to celebrate a Joint Protestant Easter Sunrise Worship Service at the site’s boardwalk.
