The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) today announced that the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has entered into a resolution agreement to ensure compliance with federal civil rights obligations not to discriminate based on national origin (including shared Jewish, Muslim, Palestinian, or Arab ancestry) under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
